And I really hope you’re ready.
I often forget to tell you over here about what I’ve got going on in my writing world, which is silly, since you’ve been with me for so long and know so much of the journey I’ve been on. And it has been really busy on that front lately.
Let’s go.
First up, on January 21st I have my very first audiobook coming out! It’s a big milestone for me, as I was contacted by Podium, the publisher, because they wanted it. And that alone felt amazing. But when I heard the actual proof…I cried. It was a truly special feeling, and I’m really grateful for the opportunity. You can pre-order it now, if you’re so inclined. And I hope you are after you listen to a bit of it below.
And then there’s this:
Second, I’ve got a new book coming out! It has been a year since I released my last Brey Willows book. In fact, last year overall was a tough one as far as writing goes, and this book was pulling teeth from first word to last. That said, my ARC readers seem to be enjoying it, and it feels like another big challenge overcome. I’m really looking forward to it coming out, even if it is pretty niche. If you’ve ever liked anything I’ve written, I hope you’ll give this one a try too, even if it wouldn’t normally be your thing. You just might find a world you like to play in. That, too, is available for pre-order.

Two rival captains, one deadly mission, and secrets that could set the skies ablaze.
London-on-High, 1898.
Captain Temp Strud is all about secrets: her own and those that belong to her ship’s passengers. When a high-stakes mission to retrieve a world-changing ancient artefact goes wrong, she’s forced into an uneasy alliance with the Devil’s Urchin pirate captain, whose reputation is as fierce as her smile is disarming.
Temp needs Minty’s cunning, and Minty’s freedom is in Temp’s hands. But as danger looms and rivals close the gap, secrets and betrayal threaten to derail their quest. One wrong move could cost them the prize—and their lives.
With the fate of the world on the line, can the two captains get to the famed Golden Apple before their enemies unleash devastation beyond imagination?
Thanks to each and every one of you who have supported my journey all these years. I’ve fallen off the sharing wagon some as I’ve dealt with health issues, connection issues, sharing issues…well, just issues. I’m growing and learning and healing all the time, doing my best, and trying not to get downhearted as I scream into the void, trying to get noticed in the throng.
I hope you’ll enjoy the offerings above, and if you could tell anyone you think might be interested, or share this post, that would be HUGELY appreciated. In fact, if you do, I’ll send you a link to a little collection of Brey stories I’ve put together. Just give me a shout letting me know and I’ll send you the link.
Live well. Be gentle with yourself.
