Travel, mojo, lessons

Going back to the old adage of trying a list when thoughts won’t come any other way:

  • Lockdown has lifted and life feels almost normal again.
  • I’m not sure how I feel about that. I liked hermiting.
  • I’m feeling better.
  • Mostly.
  • I’m really lucky. In pretty much every way.
  • I love planting flowers in the spring. I’m crap at keeping them alive through summer.
  • I don’t miss hugging people, for the most part.
  • I’m glad we went off our donut binge. It was good while it lasted.
  • Nobody makes fudge like our friends Becky and Laura. Nothing store bought comes remotely close.
  • I’ve lost my cooking mojo. Totally. Good thing my wife is so good at it.
  • I’m taking driving lessons. After two decades of driving.
  • We have planned trips. I find this incredibly exciting.
  • I’m so grateful to be able to travel.
  • Conversations with random colleagues have been both fun and informative throughout lockdown. I’m not everyone’s cup of tea.
  • But a couple people seem to like me, and that’s nice.
  • I’ve been fundraising for my mom, who needs some help. (Link). I’m not very good at it.
  • How are all of you doing as we head into spring?
